Ok its 2020 and Covid-19 is here.
So we at SweetNews have had to very quickly think SURVIVAL!!!!
A large majority of our customers are in the 2 age groups whom are cocooning.
We thought a delivery of newspapers/Magazines and any other shopping they may require (not just from SweetNews) would best suit our senior customers.
This left us thinking of our younger shoppers needs, our lunch time school children, our Friday treat day children, our after school kids, our Sunday Mass children….
They loved visiting SweetNews and completing their weekly purchases, half the excitement was choosing their own sweets and seeing what was on offer or new in store.
So we came up with a plan, we added a Sweet Shop to our website, so our local shoppers were able to pick their own sweets and treats , pay online and either get them collected or we could deliver to them, basically bringing SweetNews to their door,
As you can only imagine, this has proven hugely popular , so popular that now we deliver SweetNews Sweet Shop to every door in Ireland and the UK.
